Now that’s the “Spring Spirit” I’m talking about! A spongy pink bushel of fresh delicious floral provided by the artistic curator Warmandsoft, MMmm! There is nothing quite like it :D


“My baby wrote me a letter…” says curator Brooknoel blushing as bright as her peach blossom treasury which tells of the romance of the season through soft feminine pinks and gorgeous designs that hide a secret...such a beautiful sight for all those April lovers.


Well, well, well it’s that time of year again, time to start thinking about “Goodies for Mom!!” and curator KalliaSuppliesland is way ahead of the pack with her beautiful collection of thoughtful and spontaneous items.


“On A Magic Night Like This” when the sky is the color of love struck lavender mingling with the mellow mint clouds, like in curator efiwarsh’s enchanting treasury, dreams are said to be alive…


Gently sweeping you off your feet is the treasury by PatchworkMountain "A Pastel Affair" designed with sweet endearing sorbet hues and some of the quaintest goodies you'll find on Etsy...simply delicious!

Weekend Bike Rides

The sister and I went on a nice long 26 plus mile bike ride to the beach with a bunch of our biking buddies the other weekend and it was a whole lot of fun :)

We stopped along the pier to snap some photos and have a little picnic...

The weather was a little gloomy and mostly cold but biking with a large group of people certainly made it more enjoyable because we took a lot of breaks for munching down food.

We are just waiting for the warmer, summertime weather to start so we can clock in some more miles in preparation for Ciclavia 2011 :)

Random stuff: Sunshine on a Rainy Day.

April showers have started early over here in golden CA and quite unexpectedly too. One moment it'll be sunny then two hours later there is a down pour.

I'm not one of those people who just can't stand the rain and I'm looking forward to those promised May flowers, but there is nothing like warm spring Sunshine.

That is what I'm wishing for right now, soft, warm sunshine. While the present weather won't comply with my desires, all I'm left to do is randomly gather photos that remind me of sunny days and the promise of Spring!

Meet Jewelry crafter and artist Joye Schwartz...

Hello Joye, first off could you tell us a little bit about yourself and what inspired you to start your Etsy shop?


I have been painting and selling my art since 1987. I have been shopping on Etsy since it’s inception and love it. Also, I love the global nature of the internet, so I decided this past October to start selling my art online through Etsy and my blog.

What makes your jewelry and art stand out from others?

Joye's gorgeous blog...

I think my art, jewelry, and fabric items stand out because I love color and make them with joy!!

What is your favorite quote/poem/saying?

My favorite quote is from Ghandi, to the effect, that no matter how much evil happens in the world, good always prevails.

What is your favorite food?

That is easy, potatoes, cooked anyway, any how :)

Where would you love to travel to someday?

I have traveled a lot since I was a child, but I always want to return to Paris.

What are your hobbies?

Wow, my hobbies, well I love to read, I read about a book a week. I love to learn about physics. I play the violin and knit, and love to design my own clothes.

What is something you love about running an Etsy shop?
Meeting all the wonderful Etsy shoppers and artists!


What is your ultimate goal for your Etsy shop?

Make it as colorful and joyful as possible!!
