My art midterm has passed and as promised I'm going to show you a couple of my drawings from the class.
Here is one of my drawings from before the class. I drew this from my imagination, before the class I didn't try to make any still life drawings.
First assignment was a cross contour drawing of a tree branch (Pencil on drawing paper).
Second assignment was sighting. I drew an odd sort of candle lamp/fountain I'd gotten for Christmas (Pencil on drawing paper).
Assignment three and four was on value. Here is a drawing of three rocks on white (Pencil on drawing paper).
Three white eggs on white (charcoal on drawing paper).
This I did because I was bored. Now that I think about it, I wish I would've drawn something else. You've no idea how awkward it is asking your drawing teacher if she wants to see your leg. ^_^ (pencil on drawing paper)
Another drawing from my imagination. I really wanted to use my colored pastels, and we were taking forever to get to them in class (we still haven't used them yet), so I drew a flamenco dancer on a stage (charcoal and pastels on drawing paper).
The latest assignment. A pair of black boots on white (charcoal on drawing paper).I forgot to take a picture of my midterm before I turned it in so I took a picture of it during the critique. (mine is the on the top, second from the right) Now you get to see some of my fellow classmates drawings. I think everyone did really well.
Enjoy
Sarah
